GMI bridges the gap between science, media, policy, and communities by turning complex climate and environmental issues into stories, conversations, and actions people can understand and act upon. While many communities face the impacts of droughts, floods, environmental degradation, and lost livelihoods, we work to promote preparedness, adaptation, and resilience. Through our work, we advance climate awareness, early warning understanding, climate-smart adaptation, clean energy, and sustainable solutions. We empower farmers, pastoralists, fisherfolk, youth, and vulnerable communities to take informed action and help build a greener, more resilient, and sustainable Somalia.
