Hamdi (Mss Agerni) is an agriculture and environmental professional with expertise in sustainable agriculture, environmental management, entrepreneurship, and community development. She holds a BSc in Agriculture and Environmental Science from Somali National University and has practical experience in farming and beekeeping. As Director of Programs at Green Media Initiative (GMI), she leads climate, environmental, and community engagement initiatives, helping design and implement programs that promote climate awareness, sustainable development, and community resilience. She is also skilled in photography, camera operation, and multimedia storytelling, using visual communication to educate, inform, and inspire positive environmental action across Somalia.
